Who We Are

A group of people, including adults and children, gathered inside a church with stained glass windows, engaged in conversation and sitting on the floor.

The Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter is equivalent to a diocese, created by the Vatican in 2012 for people nurtured in the Anglican tradition who wish to become Catholic.

We are a community of Catholics from various Anglican, Episcopalian, & other Protestant backgrounds (as well as cradle Catholics) in Austin, Texas. We are an Ordinariate parish established in order to preserve our patrimony, evangelize our city, and warmly invite Protestants of all stripes to “come home!”
